- Use Acetone-based nail polish remover to remove side 'barcode' markings, then use car polish to remove any remaining white swirls/marks.
- Remove original decal from front wing to provide a consistent background for the new decal.
- Trim the original rear wing decal or use white decal or paint to cover original red/blue/gold decals on rear wing before applying new decal to provide a consistent background for the new decal.
- Cut away "Mansell/Renault" decal from rear cowl decals on sheet if converting for different driver.
- Cut "E" decal from white area of diecast and use blue rectangular decal to cover the remaining parts of the "E" decal.
- The "Renault Diamond" was used as #0 for Damon Hill at Brazilian GP.

- Remove original decal from front and rear wings to provide a consistent background for the new decal.

- Use Acetone-based nail polish remover to remove sidepod 'barcode' markings, then use car polish to remove any remaining white swirls/marks.
- Use additional white decal included to cover up "D.HILL" decal on cockpit on WDC Edition release.
- No need to remove original "Racing" decal on the helmet, new decal fits directly over the original decal.
- Remove original decal from rear wing to provide a consistent background for the new decal.
- Cut Front Wing decal in to (3) parts (left/center/right) for easier application. Cut slices on original decal to retain white decal at center of front wing, but removing decal from the majority of the front wing mainplane. (See photos below)

- Use Acetone-based nail polish remover to remove sidepod "R.?" markings, then use car polish to remove any remaining white swirls/marks.
- Remove original red/gold/white striping around airbox before using new decal. Alternate method is to cut the stripes away from the decal and use only the Roth. logo part of the decal with the original striping.
- No need to remove original "Racing" decal on the helmet, new decal fits directly over the original decal.
- Use supplied vinyl template to create appropriately sized Carbon Fiber decal or use black decal to cover original front wing flap decals.
1999 Williams FW21 1/18
- Use a rotary tool to drill out rivets on underside of front wing to remove "WilliamsF1" decals and apply new decal before remounting.
- For placement of the nose decal, apply cuts from edge of decal to center antennae holes to slide decal into position.
- Use white decal or paint to cover original "Veltins Alkholfrei" decals before applying new decal to provide a consistent background for the new decal.
- Remove "WilliamsF1" decals from inside of cockpit headrest.
